AIDS, Hepatitis and reproduction
The AIDS virus and Hepatitis C may be transmitted through semen. When a male is infected, they may use the assisted reproduction techniques to avoid transmitting it to their partner and future child.
Thanks to current techniques with infected semen, the viral component of the sample may be eliminated and re-checked to make sure no virus remains, to then begin the selected type fertility treatment the with motile selection of sperm. This then results in a healthy child without an infected mother.
